About the Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Room Maid to support our Housekeeping team at our two resorts in Mauritius. This role focuses on ensuring clients are always satisfied.

Your Role and Who You Are

We are looking for Room Maids to become an integral part of our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and restocking equipment.
• Pay close attention to detail, ensuring each room meets expectations of cleanliness and presentation.
• Promptly report any maintenance issues or damage to rooms.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are adequately stocked in each room.
• Report any shortages or supply problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Interact courteously with customers, responding promptly and professionally to all requests or concerns.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while performing housekeeping tasks.
• Work collaboratively with other Housekeepers and the housekeeping team to prioritize tasks and meet cleanliness standards.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for hospitality, and creating unforgettable guest experiences. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. You should have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
