We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to oversee and manage our beauty retail shops.

 

The Retail Lead shall oversee the shops and outlets and performs duties to ensure its smooth operation as required.

 

Being in this role, you will be involved but not limited to:

• Be responsible for the daily organisation and control of the shop and the outlets.

• Act to increase revenue in retail and assist the Reporting Line Manager in the development of new revenue streams.

• Support and participate with inventory management functions which include the receiving procedures, transfers, pricing procedures, product counts, and physical inventories as required.

• Organise special promotions, displays, and events.

• Monitor stock levels and process purchase orders as advised by Management.

• Ensure the inter-outlet transfers are done effectively.

• Complete stock checks and be fully conversant with and consistently practice all correct procedures relating to the ordering and processing of goods.

• Participate in stock audits and assist in the implementation of recommended actions to ensure the stock reaches the required rating standards.

• Ensure that the shop environment is in line with the concept of the company.

• Follow the company’s established register and cash handling policies and procedures.

• Conduct required training of the team in respect of selling techniques to deliver exemplary customer service and meet sales targets.

• Ensure customer complaints are dealt with in an efficient manner.

• Work closely with team members to upsell the activities and products of the park in a consistent manner.

• Conduct daily briefings with the team and engage in monthly one-to-one meetings with team members.

• Ensure the team is properly trained on systems, security, and cash handling procedures, and service standards and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions.

• Oversee staff management, ensuring team efficiency, motivation, and performance.

• Assist in staff recruiting, selecting qualified candidates, and ensuring proper onboarding and training.

 

Candidate’s Profile:

• Have at least 2 years of relevant sales and management experience.

• Commercial awareness would be an advantage.

• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good organisation skills.

  • Driver’s license and personal would be an advantage
