- Follow up of audit results + CAR until successful completion. Provide feedback & reporting to MGT (1st party & 3rd party)
- Complaints handling & Non conformities management. Root Causes analysis & corrective action plan within established time frame. Evaluate effectiveness of correction actions and report the same to MGT.
- Maintain and upgrade quality related documentation

2 | CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT / PROJECTS PROCESS CHANGE | - Process improvement plan with concerned persons + follow up
- Lead quality circles as and when required for any process improvement
- Project timelines for new projects + follow up
- Reporting to MGT on status of projects / improvement plans
- Monitor, document & report any process change

3 | LAB OPERATIONS | - Oversee lab operations
- Lab & QC related results & deviations
- Investigation and corrective action plan for deviations
- Ensure that internal & external lab tests are being performed as per lab plan
- Reporting to MGT

4 | SENSORY ANALYSIS | - Familiarize with existing tasting protocols (soup powders, noodles, pasta)
- Organize daily tasting sessions with panels & master batch
- New soup powder development : schedule tasting sessions
- Reporting to MGT

5 | LEGAL SURVEILLANCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS | - Weekly check on applicable food safety and quality related regulations (govt gazettes, local food norms, EU, Codex, South African etc..). Report any changes to MGT
- Waste Water MGT (Effluent collection plan with auditors and Authority) + results
- BV requirements and application procedures for exportation
- Fumigation procedure and follow up during exportation to specific country

6 | SEASONING OPERATIONS | - Oversee operations for packing of seasonings
- Planning
- Follow up of weight and other quality metrics with operators
- Investigate deviations & establish corrective action plan
- Reporting to MGT

7 | PRODUCT SPECFICATIONS | - Create Technical and Product Data sheets for clients and internal use
- Collaborate with admin sec for verification of artworks (new or revised)

8 | HOUSEKEEPING | - Oversee housekeeping operations
- Planning; cleaning chemicals stock and equipment
- Monitor the cleaning of waste water & quality of effluent to ensure parameters as established by legal norms are within limits.

9 | RECORDS AND DOCUMENTATION | - Maintenance and upgrade of existing records
- Creation of new records + approval with concerned departments
- Verification of all quality, production, lab and cleaning records on a daily basis

10 | REPORTING | To report to the MGT on the following quality metrics: - Production data (weight of seasonings during packing, CCP temperatures) and other quality control elements as established in existing control procedures
- Lab results trend analysis & out of control points
- Results of weekly check / inspection done in production, store, yard and other related operations
- Other elements as mentioned above (points 1 – 8)
