The Quality Executive is responsible for overseeing quality control and assurance processes within Gaz Carbonique Ltée. This role ensures that all production and distribution activities comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and customer requirements

 

The job incumbent will implement quality management systems, monitor quality performance, and drive improvements to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence. A more detailed job description below:

Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure controls are in place to guarantee product and alert Management in case of deviations.
  • Prepare certificate of conformance and cylinder tags
  • Review and analyse product quality records including those related to critical control points
  • Ensure good manufacturing practices (pre-requisite programmes) are implemented and maintained.
  • Carry out regular inspections and follow up on actions with different process owners
  • Ensure product testing results are as per requirements.
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS):
  • Verification of first aid boxes
  • Carry out safety inspections
  • Assist in reviewing OHS hazards and risks assessments
  • Follow up on near misses and incidents and ensure corrective actions are taken
  • Raise awareness OHS practices with employees
Sustainability:
  • Carry out waste assessments
  • Raise awareness sustainability on practices with employees
Management Systems:

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of different management systems including but not limited to:

  • Documentation control
  • Records verification
  • Follow up of non-conformities and corrective action plans
  • Follow up on verification activities
  • Regulatory and statutory surveillance
  • Train team members as per established traning plan
  • Coordinates supplier"s evaluation on yearly basis and requests customer feedback about our services and product.
  • Ensure effective internal and external audits.
  • Promote continual Improvement
Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and / or required by the employer
Qualifications/ Experience
  • At least degree in Science or Engineering Field, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Valid driving licence
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • At least 3 years experience working with ISO 9001 and FSSC standards.
