To develop and update quality standards and guidelines and provide monitoring, consulting and training services to ensure compliance with quality standards.

 

SOP Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Conducts frequent quality spot-checks within all Departments (Administrative service and Public areas with regards to administrative procedures, hygiene, storage and par stocks, and service quality, so as to ensure that SOPs and quality compliance are adhered to.
  • Determines root causes of non-adherence to quality standards set by the Hotel and proposes solutions to Senior Management.

Administrative Support

  • Assists in any administrative work as requested by the Resident Manager.
  • Prepares monthly and year-end reports for submission to the Resident Manager.

 Information Monitoring

  • Keeps abreast of the latest developments in Quality Assurance Management and disseminates these through reports and briefings.
  • Conducts research and benchmarking exercises with regard to best practices in the hospitality industry and reports to Senior Management.
  • Sets up information monitoring systems to evaluate the impact of various initiatives on quality guest satisfaction and financial results in collaboration with other HODs.

Projects Coordination & Management

  • Organises and facilitates training and workshops in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager, Naïade Training Academy Manager and HODs in order to develop awareness of quality issues.
  • Sets up and coordinates various interdepartmental and Corporate committees and work-groups with regards to quality issues, such as HACCP, Environment, Hygiene, Safety, Energy Management, Waste Management, Quality Circles, etc.
  • Organises and/or facilitates various Presentations, Workshops and Training programs pertaining to Quality issues, in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager and Naïade Training Academy Manager.

Internal/External Communication

  • Informs the Resident Manager of any problems/issues and conducts meetings with HODs to resolve Quality issues.
  • Attends and participates in HODs meetings and Management Updates as required.
  • Represents the Hotel in meetings/seminars or any other events linked to Quality issues, when required.

 Document Production

  • Writes all the Hotel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and updates quality manuals and Hotel procedures as required.
  • Prepares report and documents for various initiatives and certification programs, such as HCAP and MQA.
  • Prepares analytical and audit reports for submission to the Resident Manager as per request.
