BlueSky is seeking a Product Officer. The designated candidate will be responsible for interpreting the customer’s needs and requirements. Be highly creative in sourcing products according to customers’ experience to propose, promote and distribute the product(s) successfully.

 

Job Profile & Purpose
  • Update Suppliers’ lists & rates whenever applicable on a monthly basis
  • Update special offers received from Airlines & Suppliers on our Website & brief Sales Team accordingly
  • Forward updated information/ details such as Rates, Special Offers, Stop Sales, Flash Sales, Black Out dates to Sales Team & Marketing Team
  • Build up new packages & travel products for both Local & International destinations to be uploaded on Share Drive & our website
  • Constant search of best deals / promotional packages & remain up to date with latest Customer Trends & the Industry
  • Participate & create new products/Item for BlueSky website & Social Media
  • Analyse & benchmark competitors for both Local & International products
  • Maintain Website & share drive with updated information, rates & details & work in close collaboration with Marketing Team
  • Assist in follow up of building Group Packages & follow up with Suppliers & Sales Team
  • Develop & ensure a smooth internal communication in line with Production
  • Affiliate administrative tasks within Production Department
Qualifications & Candidate Profile
  • 2+ years related experience in Outbound Travel: with previous experience in products & understanding & ability to create flight itineraries, packages & work on costings.
  • Digital Savvy & holder of a Diploma in IATA
  • Accustomed to social media & both Back & Front Office of Website          
  • Solid Geographical Knowledge
  • Excellent & established Product Knowledge
  • Multi-Tasking & ability to work on several high-volume projects with a short lead time
  • Creative, Proactive, Innovative, thinking out of the box
  • Polished written, verbal and listening communication skills both in English & French.
  • Exceptional creative problem-solving abilities, take initiative to gets things done and operate with minimal supervision
