Product Development Officer

Silver Wings Travels Ltd is looking for a Product Development Officer responsible for developing innovative travel products and packages. This role involves promoting these products to both internal and external customers with the ultimate goal of enhancing customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed set tour sales performance targets.
• Negotiate with partners to secure the best deals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Build and maintain a growing customer portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist sales consultants in developing products/packages that meet customer needs.
• Plan and establish a yearly program for tours, packages, and group travels.
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of products.
• Ensure accurate issuance of air tickets and proper handling of all related procedures.
• Manage reservations and confirm all customer requests efficiently.
• Ensure timely sales/payment follow-ups and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Engage with the right partners globally to facilitate the sales of travel packages.
• Establish and maintain a positive rapport with service suppliers worldwide.
• Provide supplementary services such as online check-ins, managing frequent flyer accounts, hotel bookings, insurance, visa processing, and other related travel services.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and communicate product offerings.
• Ensure product awareness among all internal stakeholders through effective training.
• Report regularly to the General Manager on outputs and progress.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities and other quality initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• HSC or equivalent. A Diploma in Business or Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tours and Packages.
• Familiar with Amadeus will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & good IT skills
• Good communication skills
