The Procurement Officer is responsible for the management, administration and the supervision of the company's acquisition programs.
Purchase:
- Based on Company’s needs, research product and services, market information and negotiate best prices and terms with suppliers.
- Prospect markets, find out about potential new suppliers, update the information base by expanding it to the international level.
- Compete with suppliers likely to meet the requirements of costs, deadlines and quantities, selecting them according to the criteria defined with the company's management.
- Negotiate directly with the company's key service providers and suppliers, particularly in the implementation of framework agreements.
- Advise and support the management in the implementation of the purchasing policy and the setting of cost, quality and delivery time optimization objectives.
- Prospecting, drafting calls for tender and selecting suppliers capable of meeting the company's strategic needs.
- Good decision-making and negotiation skills in the finance environment
- Ability to build professional relationships with management, suppliers and clients
- Understanding of procurement processes and systems
- Basic Financial & Accounting skills
- Analytical skills
- Capacity to predict and anticipate market trends
Profile:
- Holder of a university diploma or degree in Management, Procurement or related field
- 3+ years’ experience working in purchasing/procurement/contracts administration or management
- Excellent plan, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge in chemical products will be a plus
