The Payroll and HR Officer is responsible for managing the full payroll process and providing comprehensive support for various human resource functions within the organization. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with tax and labor laws, and maintaining employee records. The officer will assist with benefits administration, recruitment, employee onboarding, and resolving HR-related queries. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a high level of confidentiality and data integrity while supporting the HR team in driving initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and process monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, pension, and labor regulations.
  • Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and analysis for management review.
  • Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company offerings.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate screening.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
  • Provide HR support for employee queries and concerns.
  • Assist in HR initiatives such as performance reviews, training, and development programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and employee benefits.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
