We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Packhouse Attendant to join our team. The Packhouse Attendant will be responsible for various tasks related to the processing, sorting, and packaging of fruits and vegetables.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sort fruits and vegetables based on size, color, quality, and physical appearance.
  • Ensure the reception of raw products is done as per set procedures.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and prepare raw fruits and vegetables according to specifications.
  • Prepare packaging materials, properly label, and apply appropriate stickers to packed items.
  • Use and maintain weighing scales.
  • Perform daily and deep cleaning of the production area to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of fruits and vegetables throughout the process.
  • Abide by the company’s quality systems and ensure adherence to HACCP principles.
  • Adopt the company’s best practices for efficient operations.

  • Ability to work independently when required.
  • Good physical coordination and manual dexterity.
