Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and announcements.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage to report on PR campaign results.
- Handle media inquiries and act as the company spokesperson when required.
- Public Relations Strategy
- implement PR strategies that enhance brand awareness and corporate reputation.
- Organize and coordinate media events, press conferences, and public appearances.
- Internal & External Communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels (digital, print, social media).
- Write and edit company newsletters, speeches, website content, and marketing materials.
- Assist in managing the company’s internal communication strategy to ensure employee engagement.
- Organize and promote corporate events, launches, and sponsorship activities.
- Collaborate with external agencies or vendors to ensure successful execution of public events.
- Reputation Management
- Monitor public and media sentiment about the company or brand.
- Ensure the company's image is positively portrayed in the media and public forums.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations.
- Experience in crisis communication and event management is a plus.
