Assist the Restaurant Manager on a daily basis in organising, planning, directing and controlling his/ her assigned restaurant
You will be directly responsible for:
•Take responsibility for the running of the Hotel outlets in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
•Maintain standards for all restaurants
•Assist the Restaurant Manager on a daily basis in organising, planning, directing and controlling his/ her assigned restaurant
•Ensure that all the activities of the restaurant are done and respected as per established hotel standards and procedures, and further assist his/ her team member in any way possible.
•Aim to reach Quality Standards laid down by the Hotel/ F & B Department
•Consult with Restaurant Manager about organisational aspects of special events (e.g. wedding/ birthday parties) being planned
•Ensure that all areas under his/ her control satisfy the most stringent hygiene and sanitation requirements
•Abide by, and enforce all rules and regulations of the hotel and F&B Department at all times; and must be an example of loyalty and discipline to all
•Attend guest complaints, resolve and inform restaurant manager
•Ensure all complaints received, (even if already solved), are communicated to the F&B Manager
•Conduct OJT with the team
•Conduct any cognate duties and responsibilities assigned
