Hefty Ltd is an importer, manufacturer and supplier of construction material, mainly specialised in the timber industry. Hefty Ltd is currently recruiting an Operations Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To manage the warehousing operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• To take charge of stock control and warehouse organisation.
• Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilisation.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods.
• To supervise the employees' work and monitor their performance.
• To liaise with different departments for timely and appropriate material supply.
• To direct and oversee site operations activities.
• To ensure good maintenance of the machineries.
• To maintain the facilities at optimum conditions.
• To ensure that all Health & Safety aspects are compliant with the law and other prevailed regulations at all times.
• To provide support to management as and when required.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Experience and knowledge of warehousing best practices
- Proven ability to implement and carry out improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Mechanical background and workshop management would be advantage
Remuneration commensurates with qualifications and experience.
