The Officer – Data Management Unit responsible to assist the Team leader / Line Manager – Data Management Unit in the day to day operations and activities.
The Officer – Data Management Unit responsible to assist the Team leader / Line Manager – Data Management Unit in the day to day operations and activities. This role is responsible to execute instructions from the Team Leader / Line Manager and act as a checker for all operational tasks ensuring all checks before approving the activities/ tasks & helps to spot the activities that appears suspicious/incorrect.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with associates and ensures account opening procedures are followed at all times and customer data is properly captured on account opening/product forms and systems.
- Works to ensure complete set of KYC documents are submitted & performs account maintenance, product registration, signature and document scanning, monitor renewal/ dormant/ abandoned and closed accounts.
- Works to ensure Data integrity and consistency with respect to all Data on Finacle (CRM) as per profile forms and KYC documents and internal requirements are captured within SLA for all new accounts as well as existing customers with necessary amendments.
- Works on all backend process and procedures are followed within the defined SLA for below banking services:
- Customer Onboarding
- Dormant account reactivation
- Fixed Deposit management
- Interest manual calculation and payment
- Abandoned funds transfer and claims
- Customer Signature maintenance
- Records keeping
- Testing of new functionalities and other systems enhancement.
- Ensure zero financial and reputational loss.
- Ensure proper recovery of charges and commission as per current Bank’s Tariff of charges and commission.
- Maintain knowledge and adherence to Compliance, Risk, Regulatory bodies requirements, Bank policies and procedures.
PREREQUISITES:
- HSC, Diploma or Degree in Banking / Finance or any other acceptable qualification from a recognized institution.
- Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in similar position.
- Well versed with Compliance, Regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Proficient in Excel and using its advance features for reconciliation, reporting and tracking.
