Key duties and responsibilities’:
- Liaise and communicate positively with guests and colleagues.
- Responsible for all front desk functions including check-in, check-out and payments
- Preparation of reports for night audit and ensuring that the Front desk is covered at all times
- Informs management of any unusual activity during the course of their shift
- Complete guest financial transactions, act as general cashier for guest, complete drops and responsible for drawer accuracy
- Prepare express check-outs
- Balances all credit card room charges
- Execute all telecommunications processes, inclusive but not limited to, answering incoming calls, responding in a timely fashion and minimizing call transfers in accordance with telecommunications standards of performance
- Execute all cashiering processes, financial records, inclusive of posting charges to accounts in PMS
- Inputs and receives guests information into PMS and other interfaces as required
- Execute all cashiering processes, financial records, inclusive of posting charges to accounts in PMS
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance and adhering to hotel grooming standards
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
- Balance room posts and close day
- Run accounts receivable reports
- Provide next day reports for hotel
- Address complaints, glitches and/or requests in a very friendly and professional manner. Ensure that all are resolved or addressed with the proper department manager
- In the event of an emergency, perform all necessary safety protocols, including but not limited to, checking the fire panels, contacting emergency services, and communicating with the Operations Manager and General Manager.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.
- Train and supervise hotel's new audit crew, support front office and reservation departments as needed.
- Able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures.
- Run end of day process/night audit process on the property management software.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and brand goals.

Education and Qualifications:
- Good spoken, written and reading ability in English, French and a third language
- Completed school certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position
- NC3/NC4 would be an advantage
- Having a real passion for guest service and taking ownership of the guest experience
- Having an excellent knowledge about the Hotel product & facilities
- Passionate about assisting others and creating experiences for customers
- A good understanding of the function of property management systems.
- Previous hotel-related working experience is preferable
