A UK-based company that specialises in providing marketing support, consulting, and third-party marketing management services, is seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive to join their team.

This full-time, fully remote position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience to apply their skills across a wide range of industries. As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for leading content creation, managing social media campaigns, executing email marketing strategies, and maintaining client communication. As Marketing Executive, Your Key Responsibilities Are:

  • Content Creation & Copywriting

    • Develop and write compelling content for blogs, websites, newsletters, and brochures.

    • Source and curate relevant images and links to complement your content.

  • Social Media Management

    • Create and manage engaging content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

    • Design graphics using tools like Canva, perform hashtag research, and schedule posts using tools such as Social Pilot or Meta Planner.

    • Edit and subtitle videos to enhance social media engagement.

  • Email Marketing

    • Design and execute email campaigns using Mailchimp, including newsletter creation, list management, and setting up automated journeys.

    • Monitor campaign performance and optimise for better results.

  • Website Management

    • Update and maintain client websites on platforms like WordPress and SquareSpace.

    • Upload blogs, news articles, and manage website content.

  • Client Communication & Relationship Management

    • Regularly update clients on their project’s progress, monitor performance metrics, and attend meetings to discuss strategies and outcomes.

    • Build strong client relationships through clear, polite, and effective communication.

  • Proofreading & Quality Control

    • Review and refine content created by yourself and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency before final approval.

  • Task & Project Management

    • Use tools like Trello and Asana to manage projects, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of marketing campaigns.

    • Collaborate with team members and maintain organised workflows to streamline processes.

  • Innovation & Improvement

    • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance Marketing 101’s internal processes, suggest new marketing strategies, and identify areas for client growth.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

  • Education & Experience

    • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred).

    • Proven experience in a marketing role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating content creation, social media management, and campaign execution.

  • Marketing Knowledge

    • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategies, and tools.

    • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp), and website management (e.g., WordPress, SquareSpace).

  • Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

    • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva.

    • Basic understanding of video and audio editing software (e.g., Audacity).

  • Communication Skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to spelling, grammar, and style.

    • Ability to craft compelling and creative content that resonates with target audiences.

  • Analytical Skills

    • Ability to analyse data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

    • Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing analytics to drive informed decisions.

  • Problem-Solving Ability

    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research solutions using online resources.

    • Capacity to think critically and adapt to challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organisational Skills

    • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Proactive in identifying tasks, prioritising work, and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills

    • Confident and professional in client interactions, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

    • Polite, respectful, and able to handle client inquiries and concerns effectively.

  • Self-Motivated & Eager to Learn

    • A self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

    • Willingness to continuously learn and grow in the marketing field, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
