Marketing Assistant – Graphic Design & Analytics

 

A. Overall Purpose Of The Job 
• As a Marketing Assistant specialising in Graphic Design & Analytics within our Marketing Operations Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the creation of visually compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate our brand and product message and engage our target audience. You will work closely with the marketing team to assist in the design and production of various marketing assets across digital and print platformsThe Marketing Assistant will contribute to the creation of impactful marketing materials that elevate our brand and engage our audience. As a creative thinker with a passion for design you have a desire to grow in a fast-paced marketing environment.

B. Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design:
o Collaborate with the marketing, product, client services and learning and development teams to create eye-catching graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various marketing materials, including email newsletters, digital, presentations, brochures, training guides, promotional materials, technical papers, explainer guides, compelling visual content for social media and digital ads.
o Develop visually appealing templates and branded assets that maintain consistency across all marketing channels.
o Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages to our target audience.
o Assist in the creation and editing of multimedia content, including images, videos, and animations, to enhance marketing campaigns and initiatives.
o Work closely with product managers, marketing, client services, learning and development, copywriters to integrate text and visual elements seamlessly in marketing materials and social media content.
o Contribute creative ideas and concepts to brainstorming sessions and collaborative projects.

Production and Implementation:
o Prepare final artwork for production, including print and digital formats, ensuring files are correctly formatted and meet quality standards.
o Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and suppliers to coordinate the production and delivery of marketing materials as needed.
o Manage the organisation and maintenance of digital asset libraries, ensuring all files are up-to-date and easily accessible for the marketing, sales, product, client services and L&D teams.

Quality Assurance and Optimisation:
o Conduct thorough reviews of design materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
o Stay informed about emerging design trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of marketing assets.
o Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions to iteratively improve design work and refine visual concepts.

Administrative & Analytics Support:
o Assist with general administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organising files, and managing project timelines, to support the overall efficiency of the marketing operations team.
o Provide additional support to the marketing team as needed, including conducting research, preparing reports, and coordinating logistics for events or campaigns.
o Support the analysis of email marketing campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement.
o Assist in the analysis of social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of social media campaigns and suggest improvements.

Required Competencies
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in layout and typography.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
• Some understanding of marketing principles and branding guidelines.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and technologies is a plus.
Required Work Experience
• 2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or creative agency environment.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or related field.
Required Languages
• Fluent in English with strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
• Desired but not required an additional language
