Main Duites:
Assist Superior to: | ||||||||
1 | Conduct selection, recruitment and promotion of respective team members (together with HRC/HRE) | |||||||
2 | Ensure that on the job training is conducted on a regular basis | |||||||
3 | Conduct Performance Appraisal and identify necessary training measures of respective team members | |||||||
Responsible for: | ||||||||
4 | Make recommendations to Superior on team members’ matters and promotions | |||||||
5 | Assist the HRM in developing and implementing formal training plans for the Department | |||||||
6 | Together with HR develop and implement formal training plans for the Department | |||||||
7 | Identify departmental trainers, assign training responsibilities and meet with departmental trainers monthly | |||||||
8 | Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to HR | |||||||
9 | Act as a coach | |||||||
10 | Coordinate & supervise activities in his/her department | |||||||
11 | Ensure that respective team projects a warm, professional and welcome image | |||||||
12 | Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations and takes active interest in the welfare, safety & development of TM | |||||||
13 | Formulate a short and long term Team Member work schedule. Maintaining a harmonious balance between necessary supervision and individual creativity | |||||||
14 | Ensure good maintenance of both internal and external customers’ facilities | |||||||
15 | Handle and monitor of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required | |||||||
16 | Prepare the Department budget (Capex, Opex etc) | |||||||
17 | Set the annual operating budget and ensure that it is strictly adhere to and follow up on a monthly basis | |||||||
18 | Supervise and control the extra work done by contractors | |||||||
19 | Draw up preventive maintenance schedules for every item of mechanical and electrical plant or equipment of all departments, such as Chillers, Boilers and Cooling | |||||||
20 | Establish cost management plan | |||||||
21 | Monitor and control inventories of work equipment advises Hotel Manager on refurbishment and rebuilding | |||||||
22 | Follow up of the Department Budget on a monthly basis | |||||||
23 | Manage Roster | |||||||
24 | Follow up on punctuality, controls absenteeism and takes corrective actions where necessary | |||||||
25 | Ensure that there is a proper planning and control of annual leaves for the department | |||||||
26 | Prepare monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordingly | |||||||
27 | Advise General Manager/Hotel Manager on refurbishment and rebuilding | |||||||
28 | Close collaborate with GM/HM on all infrastructural projects | |||||||
29 | Minimize wastage | |||||||
30 | Maintain accuracy of savings, such as electricity, gas, water supplies, etc. | |||||||
31 | Manage all environmental projects | |||||||
32 | Ensure that preventive maintenance programme is working satisfactorily and that paperwork and logbooks / sheets for all testing (emergency lighting, fire alarm, sprinkler system) are kept up to | |||||||
33 | Ensure respective TMs are operating as per Quality Management System | |||||||
34 | Ensure respective TMs are operating as per S&H regulations and policies | |||||||
35 | Maintain good housekeeping in the Department | |||||||
36 | Ensure that all new and existing equipment are registred with concerned authorities and all permits are up to date | |||||||
37 | Ensure regular tests are carried out on water and take appropriate action is taken whenever necessary | |||||||
38 | Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the general maintenance and repair of the resort | |||||||
39 | Establish in line with the quality manager of all quality procedures and follow-up | |||||||
40 | Ensure all disturbances / breakdowns are handled and registered. | |||||||
41 | Follow up on new projects | |||||||
42 | Test regularly all fire prevention systems in the entire hotel | |||||||
43 | Monitor all electrical and mechanical works (as per check lists) | |||||||
44 | Make sure that plant rooms and all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times | |||||||
45 | Follow-up on all maintenance requests | |||||||
46 | Ensure that furnishings and installations are in good condition in the outlets otherwise takes appropriate measures | |||||||
47 | Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units | |||||||
48 | Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society |
