To ensure building systems, equipment and facilities operate at peak efficiency and support the creation and maintenance of a safe, efficient, comfortable and clean working environment for staffs and clients.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance practices on property and equipment to reduce the occurrence of workplace accident.
  • To conduct regular inspection in order to identify faulty equipment and perform repairs.
  • Inspect the building’s plumbing, electrical and ventilation systems and conduct maintenance and repair work wherever necessary.
  • Perform daily testing and logging all test results, making adjustments required to maintain refrigeration & utility system within established limits.
  • Monitor lift operations (goods and passengers) and inspections reporting any faults to the manager.
  • Basic carpentry and decorating tasks for example, repairing/replacing doors, cabinets, locks, door closures, shelving, desks and pedestals and painting car park markings.
  • Weekly testing of fire alarms, RCD and emergency lighting systems and report any faults to Maintenance Manager when necessary.
  • Follow up with pest control provider (pest management).
  • Verify fire extinguishers and fire alarms every 6 months.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on a regular basis
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum SC/HSC, NTC 2 or 1 in any of the following field (Electrical installation – Commercial/Industrial, Air conditioning/refrigeration system OR City & Guild – Electrical engineer OR Diploma in any technical field)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisory level
  • Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.
  • Private car/van Driving license
  • Knowledge of cold storage and ammonia refrigeration
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
