The Lecturer would ensure that the lectures are delivered to the required standards and schedule. The Lecturer also follows up on the student in their learning process and provides them support as and when required.

Salary: Rs 31,725- 49,950

Qualifications:
A. A Bachelor Degree in the field or relevant field from a recognised institution
B. A Master’s Degree in the relevant field would constitute an advantage
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Experience in teaching, developing, delivery and implementation of courses in the field preferably in an education or at industry level as a trainer would constitute an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills:
Candidates should –
(i) be customer focused;
(ii) be proactive and able to work under pressure;
(iii) possess superior management, communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
(iv) demonstrate commitment and passion for the field of Tourism and Hospitality.
Candidates should produce written evidence of experience/knowledge claimed.
Duties.
1. To report to the Programme Leader Tourism and Hospitality or any delegated officer;
2. To facilitate lectures, conduct tutorials, design syllabi, prepare written material for class use and bridge theory to practice in the classroom and beyond;
3. To set class assignments and tests, prepare examination papers, mark scripts and input marks in the Student Information System;
4. To participate in Academic Committees and Examination boards;
5. To liaise with Industry stakeholders for the placement of students;
6. To coordinate with our academic partner, receive training and maintain quality assurance on all academic related work;
7. To promote and participate in the organisation of programmes, events, and activities aimed at showcasing PML’s active involvement in the Tourism and Hospitality field;
8. To perform such other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from the Associate Lecturer Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality in the roles ascribed to him/her.
NOTE
The Lecturer Leisure Management may be required to work outside normal working hours, on Saturdays, on site and off site.
