Junior Accountant

Job profile:
The selected candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the following :
- Check and process expense invoices
- Check and process sales invoices
- Reconcile disbursements and receipts with supporting documents
- Post the required journal entries during the period or at the end of the period
- Reconcile the account statements of customers and suppliers by communicating with the latter by email
- Perform bank account reconciliation monthly
- Prepare routine accounting analyzes in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare monthly financial information, financial statements and associated information
- Respond to requests and correct errors identified by the Accounting Manager
- Enter payroll data
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress reviews and issues identified on a regular basis

Experience and training
At least two years of in-depth experience in bookkeeping (sales and purchasing cycles)
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Ability to learn new technologies and applications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software (Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational skills
Diploma in accounting, an asset
Knowledge of Sage 50, Acomba or other similar software, an asset
