We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our Contact Centre Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our Contact Centre Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (e.g., routers, printers).
  • Inspect computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality.
  • Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on the operation of new software and computer equipment.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without disrupting workflow.
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify shortages in computer or network equipment and place orders.
  • Provision IP Phones.
  • Manage stock inventory (IT equipment, headsets, etc.).
  • Perform any other tasks deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic hardware and software skills.
  • Professional Certifications and/or Diploma in IT field is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a Windows environment is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
