JOB ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF IT OFFICER
Based for 20+ years in Mauritius, Natec Medical Ltd is an integrated design, development and manufacturing company specializing in percutaneous interventional medical devices for the global market. We design and manufacture angioplasty balloon catheters for interventional cardiology, radiology, gastroenterology and urology.

We are now searching for our IT Officer who will team up with our IT department.
The job incumbent will be mainly required to:
- Perform daily system monitoring
- Apply OS patches and upgrades
- Verify the integrity and availability of all computer system and key processes
- Review system and application logs
- Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Manage antivirus solution
- Ensure the installation and configuration of PCs, Laptops, Printers, CCTV, IP Phones, Mobile Devices, WIFI, Access control, Clocking, associated peripherals and software
- Ensure technology is accessible and users equipped with appropriate hardware and software
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate & ensure hardware is stripped and secured before each operation
- Ensure regular reporting towards IT Administrator and/or IT Manager
- Ensure communication towards end users
- Put in place the measures to protect network access/operations, software and hardware
- Manage the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software resources
- Handle escalated problems with solutions that require in-depth troubleshooting and analysis with suppliers
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
- Perform any other technical related function or cognate duties as may be necessary
- Provide After Hours Support whenever it is required
- Follow all company and ISO procedures
- Create and maintain good technical documentation
- Keep in touch with latest technologies happening in the field by attending seminars, workshops etc.
- Deal with customers and suppliers for quotes. Bargain for best price and quality.
- Manage email 365 solution.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Diploma in Information Technology
- Good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others throughout the Company
- Problem solver
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to learn quickly
- Possess a superior work ethic
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7.00 am to 4.40 pm
