IT Cards and Payments Support Officer will be responsible for execution of projects as well as providing support to Bank on Cards and Payments related matters.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend with the investigation of issues associated with Cards, ATMs, POS, EFT, Transaction settlement using Back Office Tools and Card Management System of SmartVista
- Assist in implementing projects and provide support as per guidelines of National Switch/VISA/MasterCard
- Develop reports using SQL
- Investigate and resolve issues to ensure maximum transaction approval rates in a timely manner
- Assist Back Office team with reconciliation of VISA/MasterCard transactions
- Ensure root cause analysis and permanent resolution of card related issues
- Review and escalate items to card schemes, application vendor and infrastructure team
- Prepare work related documentation
- Participate in projects related to the Card Management system or any other solution.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned based on skills and competencies.
What are we looking for:
- At least a Diploma in IT
- At least 2 years of work experiences in the Banking or IT sector.
- Candidate should be conversant with AIX/Linux
- A good understanding of SQL
- Exposure in Card Management Systems/Payment Switch would be an advantage.
- Candidate should have knowledge of schemes such as VISA/MasterCard
- Self-starter with good planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
