Omnicane is looking for a Human Resources Manager to manage the Human Resources department in a hospitality environment.
Main Duties
- Manage the Human Resources department in a hospitality environment.
- Ensure the recruitment process is fully functional.
- Ensure Contract of Employment and/or Particulars of Work Agreements are prepared as per guidelines.
- Ensure proper onboarding and separation by enforcing all internal procedures.
- Ensure all HR records are up-to-date for documentation and audits.
- Follow up on training needs, training programmes and refunds from the relevant institutions/ Authorities.
- Prepare and present HR metrics.
- Participate actively in all HR projects.
- Work closely with the payroll team to ensure employee’s salaries and benefits are processed promptly and accurately.
- Be up to date with labour legislations and assist in ensuring a proper workplace.
- Partcipate actively in change management processes.
- Perform any other cognate duties.
Profile
- Leadership and organisational skills.
- Team spirit and collaboration.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Fluent in English and French (both written and verbal).
- Conversant with the labour laws.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good IT skills.
Qualifications
- Holder of a School Certificate (SC)/ Higher School Certificate (HSC) or any alternative equivalent qualification.
- Holder of a Diploma/Degree in Management, HR, Hospitality or any other equivalent qualification
- At least 10 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role including at least 5 years in a Manager role.
- Experience in hospitality is desirable.
