The job incumbent will have to assist the HR Manager in the full spectrum of human resource management and related functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist our different departments including our retail outlets in the day to day HR management
• Provide support for manpower planning, recruitment and selection process
• Assist in the identification and analysis of staff training, development and career support needs
• Initiate, implement and evaluate learning and development programs
• Communicate, interpret, assist and advise employees on HR policies, procedures and practices presently in force in the company
• Handling payroll
• Assist in IR matters and ensure excellent employer-employee relations
• Ensure compliance with safety and health requirements
• Develop and recommend plans and activities to improve on the current HR system and process development
PROFILE
• Passion for human resources
• Degree in Human Resources Management
• 3 years’ experience in a related post – preferably in the distribution sector
• Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects and deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
• Able to motivate and empower others to reach organizational goals
• Good judgment and decision making skills
• Fully conversant with MS Office applications
