To strategically plan, implement, organize, and coordinate the seamless and efficient daily operation of the room service department.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible of the operation and teams of housekeeping service, laundry facilities, linen operations and floral arrangement both for our Guests and Staff.
- Responsible for general housekeeping service and cleanliness of the Hotel’s Public Area.
- Responsible for the Departmental Budget – Capex and Opex and monitor expenditure and breakages,
- Optimise and seek for guest satisfaction throughout their stay in line with our standards.
- Ensure that Hotel values and housekeeping standards are as per policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper supply of room amenities and linen to ensure continual service.
- Conducts regular checks in rooms, corridors and surroundings to ensure maintenance of our standards.
- Control and manage inventories, provide management with purchase recommendations and negotiate with suppliers.
- Close monitoring of safety of the team during operations.
- Qualifications and profile:
- Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience in related position.
- Luxury Star Hospitality experience and quality standards would be an advantage.
- Pleasant and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Good Physical condition and managerial organisation skills.
- Ready to work odd and flexible hours including Public Holidays and Sundays.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
