Health and Safety Officer (Part-time) at Resiglas

Create and promote a safe and hazard-free work environment by designing and implementing policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and the Occupational Safety and Health legislation.

Role Purpose

Create and promote a safe and hazard-free work environment by designing and implementing policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and the Occupational Safety and Health legislation. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• .Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics.
• Keep up to date with changes in health and safety legislation and ensure compliance.
• Regularly inspect the workplace and dormitories to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• To monitor and evaluate the organisation’s overall Environmental Program of New Projects.
• To monitor and report unsafe situations and to assist in the implementation of improvements.
• Investigate and keep proper records of any occupational accident and other dangerous occurrences and submit comprehensive reports to the Management. 
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Holder of a BSc in Occupational safety and Health Management.
• At least 3 years working as a registered Health and Safety Officer.
• In depth knowledge of legislation related to OSHA.

• Team spirit.
