Your responsibilities within our Tribe
- Advise and assist the employees involved in planning, organising, controlling and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for work
- Keep abreast of evolutions in H&S legislations and take necessary initiatives to align the H&S legislations to the company procedures accordingly
- Develop and implement the binding policies
- Assist managers in all departments to ensure that H&S procedures are followed
- Advise and assist managers to ensure that their respective areas have staff in sufficient numbers designated for specific
- Health and Safety duties like First Aiders, Fire wardens etc
- Inspect the workplace for potential hazards identification, assess the risks and report potential hazards
- Conduct investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes related to H&S
- Responsible for assessing potential risk of accidents and incidents that may occur in the workplace and recommend preventive measures. Investigate on reported accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences to identify root cause and make recommendation on measures to eliminate, minimize or control risk of recurrence
- Maintain accidents records, H&S inspection and risk assessment reports and other documents as required by law
- Ensure that staff are provided with H&S induction and other H&S training as per the H&S Policy and legal requirement
- Ensure Fire equipment are maintained in good order and conduct fire drills as per legal requirement
- Make sure that the requirements regarding H&S are followed by the company for auditing process. Prepare and coordinate any H&S audit
- Maintain effective communication with all employees on H&S matters
Your differentiating profile
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
- A minimum of 2 year's work experience in related field
- Ability to work as a team and lead a team (managerial skills)
- Ability to learn from experiences and feedback received in order to develop
- Alert and risk management
- Define the objectives of your activity into individual objectives and follow them. Evaluate the individual objectives of your team members
- Organizational Qualities: Priority and Emergency Management
- Curiosity and creativity
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Knowledge of the Office 365
- Interpersonal skills (ability to create internal and external relationships)
