Assist the HR Team

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR & Payroll Officer`s main responsibilities will be provide support in all HR related matters in the employee life-cycle, with a core accountability in Payroll Administration.
Candidate Profile
- Highly ethical, dynamic, reliable, and proactive person
- Ability to operate with the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Fully computer literate. Knowledge of Sicorax HRMS will constitute an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office Tools (MS Excel is a must)
- Excellent interpersonal, administration and communication skills.
Core Accountability: Payroll Administration
- Advise and support employees and Managers on all Payroll related matters. (Salary, Benefits, deductions, changes…)
- Ensure that monthly payroll is up to date as per the various changes that occurs each month.
- Provide adjustments to the payroll software and manage the processing.
- Ensure monthly Payroll is accurate and Bulk Payment is sent to the Bank within the deadline.
- Be updated on Labour and Salary legislations and amend payroll accordingly.
Other Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to-person with regards to HR related matters
- Assist is Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding and Exit
- Assist in Learning and Development Initiatives
- Assist in Employee Performance Management
- Assist in Employee Welfare Initiatives
Profile of candidate
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the administration of the HR function across all levels of an organisation.
- Mastering of local labour laws and related regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and working on human resources related softwares.
- Dynamic, focused, and reliable person, with strong interpersonal, administration and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with supervisors and collaborators.
- Ability to operate with the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Holder of a valid driving licence.
