Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and coordinating interviews.
- Onboarding and Induction: Facilitate new employee onboarding and ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Expat Management:
- Handle work, residence and occupational permit applications, renewals, and compliance for expatriate employees.
- Assist expatriates with accommodation arrangements and overall welfare.
- Serve as a liaison between expatriates and relevant authorities for documentation and other requirements.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Payroll and Attendance: Assist in payroll processing, track attendance, and manage leave records.
- Performance Management Support: Assist in the performance appraisal process and provide necessary guidance to employees and managers.
- Employee Relations: Address employee queries and concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
- Compliance and HR Policies: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- General HR Administration: Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR coordination or a similar role.
- Experience in managing expatriate employees is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Mauritian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi would be an advantage
