Main Responsibilities:
- Attends to calls, directs calls and provides telecommunication services as appropriate;
- Listens actively to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback, responding with empathy and understanding;
- Handles guest complaints and conflicts diplomatically and promptly;
- Ensures with the concerned departments that remedial actions are taken following guests’ complaints;
- Uses technology and software tools effectively to manage guest interactions and communication;
- Collaborates with other team members to ensures seamless service delivery and shares insights for continuous improvement;
- Collects and analyses guest’s feedback to identify trends and area for improvement
Candidate Profile:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
- Previous experience in customer service, or a related field will be an advantage;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to operate a telephone switchboard;
- Ability to work under pressure and to multitask;
- High level of confidentiality;
- Excellent grooming standards and courtesy;
- Conversant with Microsoft Office tools;
- Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
- Fluent in written and spoken English and French;
- Knowledge of a third language will be an advantage.
