Axcel Capital Ltd (the “Company”), is looking for a Group Finance and Accounts Assistant to join its finance team. The candidate will oversee the Company’s financial affairs and that of its sister companies (together known as the “Group”).
Key responsibilities, for the Group, will be:
- Responsible for proper and accurate bookkeeping (accounting system postings, journal postings, bank/control/inter-company/other reconciliations, etc);
- Preparing monthly management accounts;
- Preparing and submitting bank instructions and monitor receipts and payments;
- Preparing of annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
- Preparing and submitting tax computation, TDS, VAT and any other tax related filings in a timely manner;
- Liaising with auditors and responsible to carry out financial audits;
- Completing surveys for submission to regulators;
- Keeping up-to-date with IFRS and related laws (Companies Act, Finance Act, annual Government budget etc);
- Assisting in the day-to-day administration, including liaison with company secretary, external auditors and other stakeholders; and
- Providing assistance and support to the entire team on any ad-hoc tasks.
