Fleet Management Officer

The job incumbent will have to ensure the deployment and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles. He/ She will have to also ensure that vehicles are maintained in good condition and that all drivers work in line with the company’s policies and procedures.

Job Purpose 

The job incumbent will have to ensure the deployment and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles. He/ She will have to also ensure that vehicles are maintained in good condition and that all drivers work in line with the company’s policies and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee all drivers and ensure they are adhering to TheBrandHouse’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure all vehicles have valid statutory documents and that drivers have a valid and appropriate driving license.
• Conduct spot checks on vehicles to ensure that they are in good working condition.
• Ensure that routine servicing and maintenance of vehicles are carried out on time; and initiate purchase orders for vehicles servicing and maintenance.
• Follow up on Insurance, Fitness, Road Tax, Servicing and other statutory payments
• Follow up on payments for all expenses relating to the vehicles including fuel expenses and servicing in a timely manner.
• Prepare fuel consumption report and vehicle cost analysis report on a monthly basis and submit to the Head of department
• Manages accident reports and liaise with our insurance company for all administrative procedures and repairs
• Uses GPS systems to track vehicles and to monitor drivers' driving patterns, such as speeding and excess braking.
• Looks for ways to reduce costs and increase profits, in addition to finding means for getting better fuel efficiency. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Fleet Management, Automotive Mechanics or related field
• Holder of a valid driving license for Private Cars/2.5T vehicles
• A minimum of three years relevant working experience
• Good cost analysis skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Honest and trustworthy
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
