Summary of Role

As a Financial Due Diligence Project Leader, responsibilities include leading a team of juniors, planning tasks and liaising with clients to ensure smooth completion of deliverables. The work will include compiling and maintaining high-quality data packs for financial due diligence, collaborating with international teams, supervising and coaching junior staff, and providing support to other departments within the organization as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Planning of day-to-day work so that all deliverables are completed and sent within agreed deadlines.
• Review the work of junior staff to ensure that the data packs meet client standards by performing checks in terms of formula accuracy, internal consistency and formatting.
• Liaising with international Corporate Finance teams to provide continuous data compilation support during the due diligence process.
• Assist with other value-added services provided to international Corporate Finance teams.
• Supervise and coach junior staff.
• Escalate issues to reporting line as and when required.
• Assist other departments within BDO Solutions when required.
• Adhere to all Risk & Compliance procedures in line with company and the client's expectations.
• Adhere to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection Act.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in Accounting / Finance, Level 2 ACCA/ACA exams completed or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 Years' Experience in Accounting/Audit/Finance.
• Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements.
• Experience with leading teams.
