The Facilities Manager will ensure that facilities operate smoothly and efficiently, creating a safe and secure environment for employees and clients alike. Will manage maintenance and repairs, lead the implementation of projects and have the chance to elevate our facilities management function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance works and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee premises cleanliness and ensure appropriate measures in place to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with service-level agreements.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Lead the implementation of a CCTV project, including planning, installation, and ongoing maintenance of the system.
  • Manage any facility related projects, as may be required, across all CFSL office spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
  • Proactively identify and address issues related to the Groups facilities.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Support the organization’s business continuity plans by maintaining critical infrastructure and emergency systems.

 

Candidate profile:

  • A degree or certification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in facilities management.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience implementing and maintaining technical systems such as CCTV or other building management systems would be an advantage.
  • Excellent vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and deliver cost savings.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to emergencies or operational challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Valid driving license
