Responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the park’s activities and operations. They develop and implement risk management strategies, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and lead incident investigations.

 

Job Summary:

The Risk Officer is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing risks across all park activities and operations. This role ensures the safety of visitors and staff by implementing risk mitigation strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Risk Officer also manages incident investigations and supports emergency preparedness and response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments for all park activities, equipment, and operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training to staff on risk management and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness, response plans, and drills.
  • Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, incidents, and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
  • Experience: minimum 5 years of experience in risk management or safety roles, preferably in recreational or high-risk environments.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of safety standards and risk assessment techniques.
