The E-commerce Lead is responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing online sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement.
The E-commerce Lead collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless online shopping experience and maximizes conversion rates. This role will oversee digital marketing, website optimization, customer experience, and performance analytics to ensure alignment with business goals.
As an E-commerce Lead, you will be involved (but not limited to):
E-Commerce Strategies
- Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals, including market research, product positioning, pricing, and promotions.
- Implement strategies to increase penetration rate of specific audiences and markets in the different business units
- Run and optimise paid advertising across different digital channels including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other non-social platforms
- Drive online sales growth through effective pricing, promotions, and upselling strategies. Monitor KPIs, such as conversion rate, bounce rate, and customer acquisition cost.
Conversion Rate Optimisation
- Analyse customer journey and use automation to improve conversion rate.
- Implement A/B testing across different platforms including social media, website and Google networks
- Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including product uploads, content management, and SEO optimizations to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions
Analytics and Reporting- Analyze web traffic and e-commerce performance metrics, providing actionable insights and regular reports to senior management.
- Analyze customer data to understand behavior patterns, preferences, and purchasing habits. Use segmentation to tailor marketing efforts and enhance personalization strategies.
- Provide and implement recommendations to increase conversion rate, drive upselling, and improve customer experience across defined customer journey.
Team Collaboration- Collaborate with the team to develop monthly editorial calendars with objective-driven content.
- Work closely with the group’s different Business Units and stakeholders to support business activities according to set KPIs and Goals.
Minimum experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in Hospitality and Leisure industries
- Experience of using Ads Manager, Facebook Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, AgoraPulse, and other tools, would be an advantage.
