Duty Manager

Veranda Tamarin is seeking for a Duty Manager for its reopening. Join us & Share our passion !

Main duties:

Ensure respective Team Members are operating as per Quality Management System
Ensure respective Team Members are operating as per S&H regulations and policies
Maintain good housekeeping in the hotel
Check list of arrivals, departures and billing of guests to ensure correct inputs
Supervise the security department and take any action necessary on decision in case of an emergency.
Carry out an inspection tour of the hotel and ensure that all premises are quiet and orderly.
Co-ordinate with the head of night reception in accordance with the instructions of the Reception Manager and keep him informed of all aspects of the job.
Assume responsibility for general pass keys, etc.

Candidate's Profile:

Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional certificate
Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration/Management would be an advantage
At least 5 years work-related experience in front-office operation with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
Computer literacy including hotel management system such as Opera, Micros, Win HMS…
Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage
