Our client in the banking sector is recruiting a Data Analyst – Documentation Management
This position is responsible for all aspects of documentation management, which includes bulk scanning and profiling of client-related documentation and reports to the AVP Operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Filing and scanning of all incoming client-related documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and legislation governing retention of information and that retrieval is efficient.
- Assisting in retrieving documentation swiftly and efficiently.
- Operating the document management system.
- Accurate and timely maintenance of archived records to ensure retrieval is efficient
- Ensuring that data is captured from the best source, to validating and classifying, and operating controls that optimise its quality and maximise coverage.
- Assisting the department with other relevant ad hoc projects as required.
- Maintaining robust processes related to data set-up, storage and distribution, as well as system configuration, together with participation in projects designed to streamline infrastructure and improve efficiency.
- Partnership with stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle office, Audit, Compliance and Regulatory Reporting, to deliver solutions that balance immediate business priorities with long term strategic objectives.
- Ensuring compliance, procedures and policies are being followed. Adhering to Key Operating Procedures at all times and adopting a high-quality culture to minimise error, ensuring quality service levels and high standards are delivered.
- Attending to queries efficiently and promptly.
- Escalating issues to Manager to enable timely solution.
- Managing and prioritising daily workload in order to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.
Your qualifications and skills include:
- High school certification
- Any relevant qualification and / or work exeprience in banking, finance, investments, trust or comparable business would be an advantage
- Good organisational, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of computerised accounting systems.
- General knowledge of trust and banking practices would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of applications
