Cybersecurity Consultant

 

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Cybersecurity Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to help protect organization’s digital assets. You will work with clients to assess their security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend effective solutions to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct information gathering to define customer requirements.
  • Estimate the required man-hours based on the define scope.
  • Assist the HOD / COO to prepare technical quote.
  • Conduct comprehensive penetration testing for client environments, including web applications, APIs, networks, and mobile applications.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports of findings and recommendations tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Remain current with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices to effectively assess client environments.
  • Design and implement automated testing scenarios to enhance efficiency and coverage of security assessments.
  • Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training for clients and their employees.
  • Participate in red teaming exercises to simulate real-world attacks and enhance overall security posture.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes and methodologies for penetration testing services.
  • Utilize forensic tools and techniques to uncover and document findings related to cyber incidents, data breaches, and other security events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or others are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, network architecture, operating systems, and web technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with security assessment tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, OWASP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
