In this Credit Risk Analyst position

• You will read and analyze audited financials.
• You will manage customer credit limits to minimize bad debts risk exposure, while meeting commercial needs.
• You will execute credit management processes as per GOM (Global Operating Model) and in accordance with policies.
• You will work closely with other teams to ensure open lines of communication are maintained.
• You will receive credit limit applications with required documentation from countries and, obtain sufficient credit risk   information to suggest either to approve, reject or escalate the case.
• You will log the Credit request in the system with detail of risk analysis for approval, according to Approval Matrix.
• You will ensure KPI on turnaround time of opening of accounts are maintained and follow up on open requests.
• You will ensure new approved account is opened in all systems for trading and inform customers about credit limit approval/rejection.
• You will execute the credit hold/release upon approval, monitor the credit limit periodically and propose action to be taken and prepare customer exposure report.
• You will ensure the correct collection treatment plans are assigned to accounts as provided for in the country credit policy.
• You will notify the Financial Controller on any warnings of financial distress on any one of the DGF customers to advice the management in line with the Company policy.
• You will provide a weekly status report on new account and maintenance requests received and completed during the   weekly debtor’s review meeting.
• You will assist with any ad hoc duties related to this position.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• A university Degree preferably accounting/finance or ACCA Qualified
• At least 1 year experience working in risk management.
• Well conversant in Microsoft Office and very strong accounting literacy
• Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.
