Shibani Finance Co Ltd (SFMC) is a private company, incorporated in Mauritius. The main activities of the company consist essentially in the trading of foreign currencies in Notes, Telegraphic Transfer in all major currencies and global money transfer services with Western Union.

 

Shibani Finance Co Ltd (SFMC) is a private company, incorporated in Mauritius. The main activities of the company consist essentially in the trading of foreign currencies in Notes, Telegraphic Transfer in all major currencies and global money transfer services with Western Union. There is an extensive network of retail branches throughout the island. We are recuiting a Cluster Manager.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  1. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a number of branches
  2. Engage in business development activities to increase sales
  3. Ensure proper supervision and training of staff
  4. Develop new strategies to increase revenue.
MAIN DUTIES 

(i)  Oversee the daily operations of branches under your supervision.

(ii)  Manage resources and staff.  

(iii)  Develop business plans to achieve sales goals and increase revenue.

(iv)  Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions to meet challenges and leveragegrowth opportunities.

(v)   Resolve customer issues and maintain high level of customer satisfaction,

(vi)  Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation.

(vii)  Keep up to date with the AML/CFT regulations and brief staff on the changes.

(viii)  Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws

(ix)   Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration

(x)    Supervise daily cashiering activities of branches under your responsibility and maintenance ofbranches records.

(xi)   Maintain compliance with branches security policy, internal regulations and procedures, andmaintain compliance policy.

(xii)   Assist Management to implement new operational procedures and ensure operations arecarried out within the regulatory framework

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Business Administration or any marketing- related subject with 5 years’ experience or HSC with 8 years’ experience in the financial services sector
  • An understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of the financial industry
