Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

 Qualifications/ Experience

Candidate must hold:

(a) A degree from a recognised institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent IT related field. And a minimum of 3 years’ experience in high end computing environment. OR

 A diploma in ICT or related fields from a recognized university/institution.

And a minimum of 5 years’ experience in high end computing environment.

 (b) Security related qualifications and certifications would be an advantage - e.g.

-       Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),

-       Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),

-       Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH),

-       Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).

Competencies

a)         Expert knowledge of security threats, attack vectors, and penetration techniques.

b)        Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/ IEC 27001, and NIST.

c)         Knowledge of Cloud computing/ Elastic computing across virtualised environments

d)        Knowledge of risk management in the banking sector.

e)         Communication skills (oral, written, report writing and presentation)

f)         Governance and ethics sensitivity.

g)        High level of personal integrity.

Appointment: The selected candidate will be appointed on a probationary period of 1 year in the first instance and subject to satisfactory performance will be considered for confirmation in the appointment.
