A leading multimedia news provider in Mauritius, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team.
The role will involve actively commercializing and promoting diverse offerings, including:
- Advertising space within the ‘Supplément’ pages of the Group’s publications
- ‘Barter’ and/or merchandise trading facilities
- E-commerce
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Marketing Strategies: Actively implement sales and marketing, ‘barter’, and/or merchandise trading strategies through direct customer contact or media campaigns, aligning with company goals.
- Business Development Projects: Manage end-to-end business development projects, including research on advertising trends.
- Visual Concepts & Paid Advertising: Create compelling visual concepts and optimize effective paid advertising campaigns.
- E-commerce Management: Stay up-to-date with e-commerce developments and manage performance.
- Solutions Provider: Proactively identify and implement solutions to optimize business and/or sales, maximizing ROI on marketing campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar fields, particularly in executing paid social media campaigns within an e-commerce environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT, with a proven ability to provide innovative solutions.
- Analytical & Writing Skills: Excellent analytical and content writing skills.
- Software Proficiency: Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Adobe, InDesign, etc.
- Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously on social media platforms.
- Independent Work & Deadlines: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
