Beach Waiter

The Beach waiter serves and assists the guests with their needs and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities :

 Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

• Supply the guests with fresh towels in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist the guests with beach beds in an efficient manner
• Effectively communicate with guest about any details concerning beach and sea activities
• Assist any guest in need in a timely, swift and professional manner
• Rearrange Beach beds and beach umbrellas after guest use
• Ensure that Guest and the hotel properties are looked after in a safe and theft free environment
• Attend all training session where applicable
• Communicate regularly with the Beach Supervisor to keep him/her fully informed
• Communicate with all the departments, keeping them informed  concerning any plans affecting their area
• Proactively sell and promote the various outlets and services of the Hotel to our guests
• Ensure a ready supply of fresh and clean beach towels

Qualification:

• Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus. 

Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position including training.
• Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
• Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.
