Job Summary/Purpose: Under the direction of the restaurant in-charge, the Bartender is responsible for mise-en-place, service, cashiering and maximization of guest satisfaction in the outlets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares guest bills and checks for accuracy before presenting
- Prepares / Generates sales reports at end of shift and submits to appropriate areas.
- Sets up the bar for daily operations, according to authorized procedures.
- Conducts daily beverage stock inventory.
- Requests for needed stocks or supplies observing authorized requisition procedures.
- Inspects and cleans up bar and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety standards and procedures.
- Dispenses beverages per guest order, observing set standards in terms of time, mixture and appearance.
- Checks on guest satisfaction by directly asking guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Listens to guest feedback and ensures these are communicated to the F&B group.
- Prepares all required reports related to audit and administrative requirements (e.g., breakage/loss forms as needed, bottle sale reports if applicable, inter-bar transfer forms, requisition forms, etc.).
- Follows safe working practices: handles all equipment in the proper manner.
- Practices accident prevention measures.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the workplace.
- Follows all procedures set for closing and opening of a shift or a section.
- Stores food items properly.
