SO/ Mauritius is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join the SO family!
• To keep accurate records of tasks and duties performed everyday, and attend to any other administrative works.
• Attend and participate in all briefings held by Superiors, by sharing his/her views and suggestions.
• To design and prepare any reports as requested by your immediate superiors.
• To abide by, and enforce all rules and regulations of the Hotel and Department at all times; and must be an example of loyalty and discipline to all.
• To be familiar with the hotel’s emergency plans- in case of fire, bomb threat and so on; and procedures for “Lost & Found” items.
• To comply with safety regulations and procedures, and ensure that all team member of this section of the Kitchen Department observe safety precautions and use safety equipment.
• Knowing the purpose and proper handling of all equipment used in the Kitchen Department.
• To report any equipment repairs that need done to your immediate superior.
• To assist colleagues in carrying out the monthly inventory of this section of the kitchen.
• Having an eye for details to improve the quality of service by continuously being creative and taking initiative.
• To be fully aware of any promotions, special events and packages organised by the hotel, and pass on these information to subordinates.
• Acting as a salesperson to any of the hotel’s paying and non-paying services and facilities.
• To assume the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Chef de Partie- Bakery Section, whenever the latter is not on the premises of the hotel.
