The Assistant Manager for Fund Services will oversee a growing portfolio within the Fund Administration team, managing daily accounting and reporting activities for funds while supervising a team of fund administrators.

 

The Assistant Manager for Fund Services will oversee a growing portfolio within the fund administration team, managing daily accounting and reporting activities for funds while supervising a team of fund administrators.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, mathematics, finance, or economics.
Skills and experience required:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in private equity or fund administration.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional and service-oriented communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Job Description:
  • Supervise fund administrators responsible for the day-to-day accounting and reporting for private equity and real estate funds.
  • Manage internal workflows, allocating and coordinating staff to meet client deadlines.
  • Review general ledger activity, including investor-level, fund-level, and investment-level transactions.
  • Oversee daily cash activities, wire transfers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage the investor onboarding process, ensuring AML/KYC compliance.
  • Review quarterly accounting packages, including partner allocations.
  • Assess financial statements prepared under US GAAP, as well as partner capital statements.
  • Support the audit planning process and assist external auditors during year-end audits.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by handling daily inquiries and providing strategic support.
  • Uphold professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management procedures, regulatory requirements, and AML legislation.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
