LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Assistant Cook for LUX* Grand Gaube.
The successful candidate will be responsible to :
1) Assist in the preparation of all food items for the outlet(s).
2) Prepare the “mise en place” of food items according to receipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
3) Always adhere to LUX* Resorts & Hotels standards of preparation receipes and presentation.
4) Follow proper Health & Safety, hygiene and sanitation practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
1) Secondary schooling or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate level 3 in food production or equivalent qualifications.
3) Recognised apprenticeship will be a definite advantage.
EXPERIENCES
1) A minimum of 1 year of working experience as Kitchen Commis or similar position preferably in the hospitality industry.
2) Prior experience in catering industry will be an advantage.
